Eight firms in the frame for Birmingham work
Eight contractors including Balfour Beatty, Amey and Tarmac-owned Alun Griffiths are all in the running for a series of major infrastructure projects needed for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Joining the three are Fitzgerald Contractors, McPhillips, Dawnus Construction, Jackson Civil Engineering Group and Volker Fitzpatrick for the work.
