Four shortlisted for first phase of £6bn north London regen scheme

Galliford Try and Peabody among shortlisted companies for Meridian Water job

Enfield council has shortlisted four housing developers and associations to deliver the first phase of its £6bn Meridian Water scheme.

Galliford Try, L&Q, Peabody and Redrow are all in the running for Meridian One, which will deliver 725 homes, as well as new public squares, shops and leisure facilities.

Out of 17 developers and housing associations that expressed an interest in delivering Meridian One, 10 submitted bids to the council in October, before the shortlist was whittled down to four. A winner will be chosen next spring.
