Thousands of housing professionals packed into the Manchester Central Convention Complex this week for the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual conference.

Last year’s event was the first ‘proper’ conference for three years due to covid, but it was back to business-as-usual this year, with housebuilders and social housing providers facing a difficult economic environment and a tougher regulatory environment.
