Having grown up visiting construction sites with my father, I find it easy to forget that what goes on behind the site hoardings is a bit of a mystery for most people.

Those of us who live and breathe construction know that what we do is fascinating, involving teams of talented people employing the latest technology to overcome a wide variety of challenges. But most people, especially young people who are still finding their way in the world, have absolutely no idea.
